Starting Strong Week 2

Far too often we assume the invitation of Christ is to come & try. Come & try to be nice. Come & try to live a good, moral life. Come & try to pray more or read your bible more. Come & try. But that’s not what Jesus said. He said, come & die. And a lot of Christians are stuck in their faith or have become stagnant in their faith because death & denial are not at the very core of their faith.

Being a Christian is NOT about trying, it’s about dying.
